Patricia Ann (Patsy) Riggs Kilgore, 78, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017 at the Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, TN.
She was of the Christian Faith and was a retired employee of Food Lion.
She was preceded in death by a son, Roger Neal Kilgore; two grandchildren, Terry Wayne Kilgore and Shonnah Kilgore; her parents, Gail and Lilly Christian Riggs; and a sister, Jean Riggs.
Surviving are the father of her children, Buddy Kilgore; two daughters, Debbie Cress and husband Bill and Becky Messer and husband Mike; five sons, Mike Kilgore and wife Vickie, Randy Kilgore, David Kilgore and wife Christina, Jimmy Kilgore and Richie Kilgore and wife Tina; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; two brothers, Jimmy Riggs and wife Donna of Maryland and Jackie Riggs and wife Billie Jo of Knoxville, TN; a sister, Karen Riggs of Maryland; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Patsy Kilgore will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Saturday, December 30, 2017 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA with Pastor Darrell Bolling officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:30 P.M. till time of services at 7:00 P.M. Saturday at the Sturgill Funeral Home in Wise, VA. Graveside committal services and burial will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, December 31, 2017 in the Wise Cemetery. Family and friends will meet at 1:30 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home to go to the cemetery in procession.
