Wilma J. Collins Matheison, 72, passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2021 unexpectedly at the Pikeville Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman Collins and Dorothy Roberts Cox and stepfather, Carl Cox. She is survived by her husband, Gerald Matheison; daughter, Kimberly Stratton and granddaughter, Hannah Stratton; stepdaughter, Staci Watters and her family; a special step-granddaughter and caregiver, Melissa McGahy;

three brothers, Ralph Cox and wife Regina, Michael Collins and wife Donna and Raymond Cox and wife Diana; a sister, Fonda Eldreth; special sister-in-law, Helen Thacker; special niece, Caroleen Sizemore and their families; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Shirley and Arthur Kilgore; special cousins of Church Hill, TN, Roy, Kay, Lisa and Tracy; special neighbors, Patricia Anderson, Johnny and Melissa Hamilton and their families; special friends, Kim Deur, June Dean, Gretta Jones, Becky Mullins, Banis Hill and a special Aunt, the Late Ann Wells; and too many friends to list. She was loved by everyone who met her and she gave her love in return.

She was a graduate of J.J. Kelly High School and was the Administrator of the original Clinch Valley Nursing Home of Wise. She loved to yard sell in Esserville and going to Florida to sell  at the Flea Market where she made many many friends (Dolly). She will be missed and never forgotten by everyone who knew her.
