William Joseph Smith, 31, was called home on Tuesday, November 29, 2022. William is a lifelong resident of Coeburn, VA. He was a graduate of Coeburn High School where he excelled in baseball. William was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting and fishing, but most of all loved spending time with his family. He was a beloved son, brother, father, and friend who will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

William is preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents Verlon and Betty Smith, Maternal Grandfather Don Adkins, and Cousin Dawson Smith. He is survived by Maternal Grandmother Charlotte Adkins, Mother Karen Adkins, Father William Smith and Wife Sherry Smith, Sister Natasha Chandler, Girlfriend Laura Elliott, and two beautiful Children Savanna and Dawson Smith as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Friends and Family will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Sunday, December 4, 2022, 1 P.M. to 2 P.M. at the Sturgill Funeral Home 310 6 ^th Street NW Coeburn. Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel with the Rev. R.J.
