William "Bill" Roy Organic, a native of Ohio, and a resident of Daphne, AL, passed away Sunday, 15, 2023 at the age of 82.

Bill had an honorable career as a Master Gunner Sgt. Of the United State Marine Corp. While in the Marines, he served three separate tours in Vietnam. He was also part of a crew that oversaw the HMX helicopter that served the President of the United States. While working as a part of this unit, Bill was able to work directly with four different United States Presidents.

After serving his duty for our country, he went on to a very successful career with Sikorsky Aircraft where he continued his work with some of the finest and most sophisticated helicopters to serve in the United States military. He finally retired after a more than 20-year career with Sikorsky and made his home in Pensacola, FL before then finally settling into his final years in Daphne, Al with his wife, Linda.

Bill was preceded in death by his father, William Organic, and his mother, Josephine Organic Cramer. He is survived by his wife of more than 19 years, Linda W. Organic of Daphne, Al; daughter, Regina Evans of Pensacola, Fl, stepsons, Brian Williamson (Julie) of Spanish Fort, Al, and Rob Williamson (Carrie) of Colorado; granddaughter, Elsie Horn (Micah) of Pensacola, Fl and one great granddaughter; many other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers the family request to make donations in Bill's memory to a charity of your choice.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 24, 2023, 12 P.M. to 1 P.M. at the Sturgill Funeral Home 310 6th Street NW Coeburn, VA. Funeral Service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Priest John Church officiating, burial will follow in the Temple Hill Memorial Park Castlewood, Virginia.
