Wayne H. Skeens, 74, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 23, 2022 at his residence.

He was of Baptist faith, a US Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War and was a retired coal miner.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Mildred Skeens; grandson, Cameron Collins; great-granddaughters, Halle and Addison Dotson.

Surviving are his loving wife of 53 years, Joyce Skeens; four daughters, Denise Miller and husband Wes, Melody Collins and husband Jerry, Sheila Dotson and Cheryl Collins and husband Anthony; grandchildren, Chris Dotson, Dillion Jekins, Dakota Craft, Alex Crabtree and Andrew Crabtree; great-grandchildren, Kayden, Marian, Carson and Everly and a host of other family and friends.

All services will be private. Burial will be in the Wise Cemetery.
