Vivian Patricia Lane Ramsey, 73, passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at the Valley Health Care in Chilhowie, Virginia.

She was born in Wise County, Virginia, being from a large family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Sherman Lane; and two sisters, JoAnn Gardner and June McCowan.

Surviving are her husband, Roy Edward Ramsey; four children, Crystal Ramsey Barger and husband Kenneth, Heather Marshall and husband Matt, April Finch and husband Junior, and Jonathan Ramsey and Angela; grandchildren, Nathan Mathieson, Austin Marhsall, Holden Marshall, Alex Pridemore, Kayleigh Pridemore, Gavin Ramsey, Bryleigh Ramsey, Ava Ramsey, and Annsley Ramsey; her mother, Lola Hubbard Horton; her siblings, Lillian Shell and husband Steve, Ivy Mutter and husband Danny, Mary Campbell and husband Charlie, Donna Tarvin and husband Mike, Michael Lane, Rita Klaiber and husband Mike, and Linda Greear and husband Tony; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Vivian Ramsey will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Thursday, December 12, 2024 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA with Pastor Jason Wright officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:30 P.M. till time of services at 7:00 P.M. Thursday, December 12, 2024 at the Sturgill Funeral Home in Wise, VA. Graveside committal services and burial will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, December 13, 2024 in the Laurel Grove Cemetery in Norton, Virginia. Family and friends will meet at 10:30 A.M.
