Timothy Wayne Porter, 63, of Moultrie, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2026, at UF Health in Gainesville, FL
Born on August 15, 1963, in Norton, Virginia. He was the son of the late Calvin Porter and Martha Bevins Peters and husband Roger of Virginia. Mr. Porter worked as a diesel mechanic, a profession that reflected his strong mechanical ability, dedication, and hardworking nature. He spent many years working for KLH Ag Transport, where he was responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel engines and keeping the company’s trucks and equipment running smoothly. He took pride in his work and was known for his ability to diagnose problems and make the necessary repairs. His years as a diesel mechanic were an important part of his life and a testament to his commitment to doing his job well.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Mark Porter.
Mr. Porter is survived by his wife, Trina Lollar of Moultrie; daughters, Pamela Crabtree and husband, Jeff of Norton, Virginia, Breanna Sturgill and husband Jordan of Norton, Virginia, Callie Porter and Chris Bridges of Moultrie, and Brooke Bullard and husband Gavin of Leesburg; stepdaughters, Santana Kirkland and husband, Kevin of Norman Park, and Shena Lollar of St. Petersburg, Florida; grandchildren, 15; great-grandchildren 4; brother, Chris Porter of Norton, Virginia.
The family will receive friends Friday, September 4, 2026, 12 P.M. to 1 P.M. at the Sturgill Funeral Home 310 6th Street NW Coeburn, Va. Funeral Service will follow in the chapel. Burial will follow in the Temple Hill Memorial Park Castlewood, Virginia. Please visit www.sturgillfuneral.com to sign guest register book online.
