Shirley Emogene Lawson, 75, passed away Saturday, November 20, 2021, at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles & Edna Bevins; her husband, John Logan Lawson Sr. son, James Matthew Lawson, and a brother, Paul Edward Bevins.

Surviving are two sons, John Logan (Janice) Lawson Jr. and Peter Andrew (Bambi) Lawson; three daughters, Paula (Roger) Salyers; Christine (Butch) Hall, and Rebecca (Mike) Crawford; three brothers, Sam Bevins; James Bevins, and Charles Bevins; two sisters, Mary Burke, and Alice Funk; 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 23, 2021, 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. at the Sturgill Funeral Home 310 6 ^th Street NW Coeburn, VA. Funeral Service will follow in the funeral home chapel with pastor David Farmer officiating.

Graveside Service will be conducted 11 A.M. Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at the Temple Hill Memorial Park Castlewood, VA.
