Shirley Joyce Hughes, 91, passed away Monday, June 17, 2024, at the Norton Community Hospital. She was a member of the Community Freewill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilson & Virginia Lawson, her husband, Clifford Hughes, sisters, Claudia Stallard, and Margie Hockensmith, a brother, Robert Lawson.

Surviving are her nieces, Lynette (Randall) Hamm, Lisa Stallard, nephews, Ken Stallard, Steve Stallard, Mark (Tammy) Hockensmith, Wesley Lawson, Jason (Tandy) Lawson, Alex Hamm, Brandon Stallard, Orrin Stallard, and Hunter Stallard.

Graveside Service will be conducted 1 P.M. Friday, June 21, 2024, at the Greenwood Acres Cemetery Coeburn, Virginia with Pastor Marty Puckett officiating.
