Shirley Ann Hale Mullins, age 73, went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 21, 2025. After a long-fought battle with cancer, she passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her husband, children and other loving family members. Shirley was known for her kindness and love for her family and her strong faith for her Heavenly Father. A faithful devout wife of 54 years and her love was limitless for her children and especially her grandchildren. She was a member of Mt. Olivet Church and a Graduate of Coeburn High School. She was truly an. Angel on Earth and to know her was to love her. She is preceded in death by her father Wilford Hale and mother Ruth Hale, brothers Brad Hale, Wade Hale and James Hale. She is survived by the love of her life of 54 years, Hubert Mullins, her four children, Jason Mullins (Pam) of Coeburn, Va Jeremy Mullins (Rebecca) of Bristol, Va Jarred Mullins (Stacey) Coeburn, Va. Jessica Hicks (Johnny) of Coeburn, Va. Grandchildren Aden and Ella Mullins, Evan, Harper and Mallory Mullins, Isaac and Haley Hicks and Austin Burnette. Brother, Zane Hale (Judith) of Coeburn Va as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews and special loved ones. As we bid farewell to our beautiful Nana, let us carry forward the love and laughter she brought into our lives. Though she may no longer be with us in body her spirit will forever echo in our hearts, reminding us to cherish each moment and hold tight to the bonds of family.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 25, 2025, 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. at the Sturgill Funeral Home 310 6th Street NW Coeburn. A Song Service will follow at 7 P.M. in the chapel. Funeral Service will be conducted 1 P.M. Wednesday, November 26, 2025, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jeremy Mullins and Pastor Johnny Adkins officiating.
