Shirley Branson, 74, entered into heavenly rest on Thursday, August 19 2021.

Shirley had a deep rooted love for her family and enjoyed attending church and singing in the choir at Emmanual Baptist church in Jenkins Ky. Shirley found peace and enjoyment being on the water fishing and gardening and she was a retired employee from the Wise County School System.

Shirley was proceeded in death by her mother Cora Phillips and father Emory Phillips.

Shirley is survived by her daughter, Michelle Wallace; son, David Branson (Carissa); granddaughter, Samantha Wallace; brother, Terry Phillips (Helen); loving pets Luke and Leia, and many other loving family members.

Funeral services for Shirley Branson will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at the Emmanual Baptist Church main street Jenkins, Ky with Pastor Gary Robbins and Rev Joe Walters officiating. Burial will follow in Powell Valley Memorial Gardens Big Stone Gap, VA.
