Sherry Dawn Stallard, 56, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at the Norton Community Hospital in Norton, Virginia.

She was of the Christian Faith and a former nurse.

Surviving are her son, Blake Stallard; furry companions, Vinny, Homey, River, Cooper, and Tubby; her parents, Doug and Brenda Stallard; brother, Mark Stallard and wife Karen; two sisters, Marla Wilson and April Thomas and husband Bobby; nephew, Josh Wilson and wife Keeley; nieces, Dr. Olivia Stallard and husband Jody Tackett, Dr. Hannah Olberding and husband Mark, and Abby Clark and husband Brandon; six great-nephews; two great-nieces; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Sherry Dawn Stallard will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday, May 1, 2026 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA with Pastor Gary Maggard officiating, Burial will follow in the Wise Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. till time of services at 1:00 P.M. Friday, May 1, 2026 at the Sturgill Funeral Home in Wise, VA.
