Sherry Stanley Large passed away peacefully at home on Friday, July 11, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Nolan and Cora Stanley; brothers, Scott, Jerry, Edd, and Jeff; sister, Joan; and nephew Kermit.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Billy Large; daughter, Tara (Jeremy) Deel; grandchildren, Chloe and Levi Deel; sister, Sandy (Leonard) Boggs; and niece Faye Boggs. She is also survived by brothers, Nolan, Earl, and Ken; sisters, Jean, Jewell, Jan, and Jo Ann; and friends Rhonda and Jojo.

Services for Sherry Large will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, July 14, 2025 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA with Nolan Stanley officiating. Burial will follow in The Stanley Cemetery.
