Shelly Colleen Hamilton, 57, passed away on Monday, December 15, 2025.

She was of the Freewill Baptist faith and enjoyed watching daily sermons.

She was preceded in death by her father, Creed Lester Roberts; and grandmother, Pauline Roberts.

Surviving are her loving husband, James Hamilton, Jr.; her daughter, Ashley Ramey and husband Luke; two grandchildren, Macee Ramey and Abigail Ramey; son, Derek Lee Fields; brother, Lester Roberts; sister, Crystal Greg; a very special friend, Jeff Sproles; and a host of other relatives and friends who loved her.

Funeral services for Shelly Hamilton will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 27, 2025 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA. Burial will follow in the Wells Cemetery in Norton, VA. Family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. till time of services at 2:00 P.M.
