Shelby Jean Conley, 86 went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at her home in Woodstock, VA.

Shelby was born in Dickenson County, VA. She moved to Northern VA and lived most of her adult life, retiring from Fair Oaks Hospital in the Environmental Services Dept.

Shelby was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Billy James Conley and her son Thaddeus Conley in 1998.

Shelby is survived by her sons, Billy Dean Conley and wife Sharon, Kenneth Conley and wife Martha and Sam Conley; daughters, Tena Lister and husband Joseph and Laura Brannon and husband James; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Her sister Reba still owns and resides where they grew up on Tacoma Mtn.

Funeral services for Shelby Jean Conley will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA with Pastor Randy Carter officiating. Burial will follow in the Crabtree Family Cemetery Wise, VA. Family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. till time at services at 2:00 P.M. at the Sturgill Funeral Home Wise, VA.
