NORTON, VA.                                                 May 28, 2022

Sheila Taylor Moore, 86, entered into her Heavenly rest on Friday, May 27, 2022 at the Maple Grove Care Center in Lebanon, VA. She was a Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother (Mimi) and sister. Sheila was a humble lady with a big heart for people.

She was of the Christian Faith and was a former employee of Food City in the Deli.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Cecil Taylor; son, Jeff Taylor; daughter, Judy Haxton; father, Alex Blevins; mother, Hattie Blevins; and several brothers and sisters.

Surviving are her husband, William D. Moore; daughter, Jamie Buchanan (Bill); step-daughters, Deborah Zacchini (Patrick), Nancy Willis, Christy Jones (Paul), Janice Moore (Lee) and Patty Lambert (James); step-son, Bobby Moore (Robin); a special granddaughter, Isabelle Buchanan; several step-grandchildren; brother, Gary Blevins (Frieda); sister, Kaye Marsh; and a host of other relatives and friends. The family of Mrs. Moore would like to recognize the Staff at Maple Grove Care Center for all the love and care they showed during her stay at their facility. The family will be forever grateful for the staff. The family would also like to thank Sharon Greear for all the love and care she gave Mrs. Moore.

Funeral services for Sheila Moore will be conducted at 6:00 P.M. Sunday, May 29, 2022 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA with Pastor Mike Hunsucker officiating. The Family will receive friends from 4:00 P.M. till time of services at 6:00 P.M. Sunday at the Sturgill Funeral Home in Wise, VA.
