Nikki "Sharron" Nicole Gibson, 44, Wise, VA, lost her battle with cancer and gained her angel wings on Thursday, March 17, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Leah Stapleton of Wise VA; fathers, Jimmy Davis of Norton VA and Charlie Stapleton of Haysi, VA.

Nikki is survived by her husband, Jody Gibson of Norton, VA; mother-in-law, Susie Gibson of Norton, VA; four daughters, LeKeisha Gibson, Sierra Gibson, Alexis Gibson, and Hannah Gibson all of Norton, VA; two sons, Gavin Mullins of Pound, VA, and Isaiah Salyer of Norton, VA; grandchildren, Levi Hamilton, Jaxxlynn Hamilton, Paxxtonn Hamilton, and Olinleah Hamilton all of Norton, VA; siblings, Freddie and wife Melissa Adams of Norton, VA, Angie Wells of Wise, VA, Jessica Davis of Coeburn VA and Leann Davis of Norton, VA; as well as two who were always her brother and sister by heart, Ricky Wayne and Angel Short of Wise VA; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.

Friends are Family and everyone is welcome to attend Memorial Service for Nikki, it will be held at Riverview Pentecostal Church on Sunday, March 27th, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. with a dinner in the fellowship hall to follow. The address for the church is: 11703 Riverview Rd, Coeburn, VA 24230.
