Ruth E. Hamilton Pridemore, 91, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2024, in the Norton Community Hospital Norton, Va. She was preceded in death by her parents, John & Virginia Hamilton, her husband, Cleophus Pridemore, son, Jamie Allen Pridemore, daughter, Amanda Jean Pridemore, and granddaughter, Kimberly Nicole Kiser.

She was a member of the Pine Grove Freewill Baptist Church and loved singing at the church.

Survivors are two sons, Darrell Edward Pridemore, and David Russell Pridemore, five daughters, Leasha Kiser, Darlene Horne, Sherry (Ricky) Clark, Regina Pridemore, and Rhonda Gomez and Rene; a sister, Goldie Rose; 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Thursday, December 26, 2024, 5 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the Sturgill Funeral Home 310 6th Street NW Coeburn, Va. Funeral Service will be conducted 1 P.M. Friday, December 27, 2024, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Willie Stanley and Pastor Richard Hill officiating. Burial will follow in the Hamilton Cemetery Caney Ridge.
