Ruby Ella Stanley, 95, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at the home of her daughter. She was of the Freewill Baptist Faith and attended the Davis Chapel Church for seventy eight years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Estele and Maggie Hale, two brothers, Ishamel Hale, Rufus Hale, three sisters, Juanita Hale, Rita Large, Romeda Salyers, husband, Otis Stanley, son, Otis Neal Stanley, daughter-in-law, Phyllis Stanley, special friend and neighbor, Josie Stanley.

Surviving is her brother, J.E. Hale, two daughters, Mona Sue (Robert) Cantrell, and Diane (Galen) Reece, seven grandchildren, Bradley (Kaye) Stanley, Matthew (Tanya) Cantrell, Nathan (Melissa) Stanley, Sarah (Michael) McConnell, Katrell (Josh) Powers, Kala Reece, Jeremy Stanley, ten great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 28, 2023, 12 P.M. to 1 P.M. at the Sturgill Funeral Home 310 6 ^th Street NW Coeburn, Va. Funeral Service will follow in the chapel with Pastor Eddie Rose and Pastor Tom Slemp officiating.
