Ronnie L. Collins, 66, passed away Sunday, January 9, 2022 at Norton Community Hospital, Norton, VA.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Ronnie was of the Christian faith and retired employee from A&G Coal Co. in 2010.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kedrick and Nell Collins and three brothers, Doug Collins, James Allen (Bo) Collins and Ralph Collins.

Surviving are his loving wife of 38 years Edna Collins; a daughter, Sandra Strouth; two sons, Dakota Collins and Ronnie Collins, Jr and wife Leslie; two grandsons, Bailey Collins and Joe Collins; two brothers, Richard Collins and wife Janice and Kenneth Collins and wife Carol; a sister, Judy Hamilton and husband Worley; several nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Ronnie Collins will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 14, 2022 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel Wise, VA with Pastor Billy Hibbitts officiating. Burial will follow in the Wise Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Friday, January 14, 2022 from 12:00 P.M. till time of services at 2:00 P.M. at Sturgill Funeral Home, Wise, VA.
