Ronald Beason Bolt, 76, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at the Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Ron was a devout Christian and a member of the Jenkins Christian Church. He loved serving the Lord and listening to gospel music. Most of his early life was spent in Alabama, thus an Alabama Crimson Tide fan. However, he grew to love the mountains and the people of Southwestern Virginia and Eastern Kentucky. Ron spent much of his career as a Principal Security Analyst, working on various government projects.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Loyd and Mae Helen Bolt; three sisters, Deborah J. Oliver, Patsy Ann McClendon, and Brenda Jane Bolt; one infant brother; and son, Loyd Paul Bolt.

He leaves behind his wife of nearly twenty- five years, Anita; children, Stephanie Bolt Walton (Craig) of Apex, North Carolina, Ronald Christopher Bolt (Tabetha) of Acworth, Georgia, Matthew Bolt (Nichole) of Daphne, Alabama, Brian Mullins (Emily) of Norton, Virginia and Jason Mullins (Amber) of Wise, Virginia; thirteen grandchildren whom he adored, Colin and Sloan Walton; Nikki, Sophia, Landin, Dylan, Marissa, Ainsley, Brennan, Ashton Bolt; Brady, Brant, and Parker Mullins; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Ronald Bolt will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, June 22, 2024 at the Sturgill Funeral Home in Wise, VA with Tommy Walters officiating. Family will receive friends from 11:30 A.M. till time of services at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, June 22, 2024 at Sturgill Funeral Home in Wise, VA.
