Roger Dooley, 72, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, February 24, 2025 with his family at his side.

He was born in Norton, Virginia to Hobart and Nora Dooley, whom proceeds him in death.

He was a former employee of Daniel's Heating and Plumbing for over 48 years.

He was also proceeded in death by his sister, Rhonda; and his wife Debbie.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Meliney and husband Justin; his sons, Nathaniel and youngest son, Jimmy "Jrod" and his wife Patty, whom Roger resided with and they served as his caregivers until he passed; ten grandchildren, Alex, Jeremiah, Lillie, Dakota, Pheonix, Adrien, Andrianna, Roman and Isabell; six great-grandchildren, Amanda, Aaliyah, Alijah, Timonthy, Russell and Winston; his siter, Clitda and daughter, Carla; his best friends, whom he considered family, Bo Mullins, John Paul Mullins, Barb and Wita Mullins; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Roger Dooley will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, March 1, 2025 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA with Jim Smith and Pastor Jeff Reynolds officiating. Burial will be in the Dooley Family Cemetery in Scott County, VA. Family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. till time of services at 1:00 P.M.
