DUFFIELD, VA.                                 DECEMBER 6, 2022

Robert E. Vikara, Sr. 86, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 4, 2022 at the Holston Valley Medical Center, Kingsport, TN.

He was a member of New Life Ministries in Dryden, VA, a US Marine Veteran and a retired employee from Paramont Coal Company.

He was preceded in death by his wife Wanda Fay "Preacher 83" Vikara; daughter, Wanda Fay Vikara Britt; parents, John Michael and Cecilia Ann Petro Vikara; several brothers and sisters.

Surviving are a son, Robert Vikara, Jr and wife Tonia; two daughters, Jennifer Castle and husband Joey and Brenda Lizista and husband Jeff; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Robert E. Vikara, Sr. will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, December 8, 2022 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA with Pastor Mark Tabor officiating. Burial will follow in the Laurel Grove Cemetery, Norton, VA. Family will receive friends from 12:00 noon till time of services at 2:00 P.M. Thursday at the Sturgill Funeral Home Wise, VA.
