Robert E. Miller, 73, passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at the Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, VA.

He was of the Christian Faith and former employee of A&A Security.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Miller; his brother, Bruce Miller; and a sister, Marcia Call.

Surviving are his fiancé, Martha A. Messer; his mother, Nell Miller; daughter, Lesley Dishong; brother, Jeff Miller; sister, Deb Slaughter; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside committal services and burial will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, October 14, 2024 in the Laurel Grove Cemetery in Norton, Virginia. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery on Monday for services. Please visit www.sturgillfuneral.com to leave online condolences for the family.
