Rick Rose, 50, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 3, 2021 at the UT Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Rick lived for and loved his family. He was of the Christian faith and was a store manager for Price Le$$ Foods in Whitesburg, KY.

He was reunited with his parents Vernon Dewey Rose, Sr., and Judy Carol Rose and a brother, Vernon Dewy Rose, Jr.; father and mother-in-law, Dennis and Sandra Hillman.

Left behind to cherish many loving memories are his wife Patricia Rose; a daughter, Miracle Rose; three sons, Shane Rose, Tyler Rose and Bradley Rose; two sisters, Jennifer Rose and Rebecca Fleming; four nephews, Taden Jackson, Toby Jackson, Mark Rose and Sean Woods; brothers and sisters from another mother, Sandy and Sabrina Burton and Greg and Pam Greear and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Rick Rose will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA with Pastor Nathaniel Maggard officiating. Burial will follow in the Harding Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 noon till time of services at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Sturgill Funeral Home in Wise, VA.
