Rhonda Kay Palmer, 71, passed away Friday, December 16, 2022, at her home. She was preceded in death by her father, Marvin Crabtree, her mother, Annie Crabtree Hayes, and her brother, James (Jim) Crabtree.

Surviving is her husband of 54 years, William E. (Billy) Palmer Sr., a son William E. (Bud) Palmer Jr. and his wife, Myra; three daughters, Julie (Mike) Ritchie, Lisa (Terry) McCray, and Crystal Powers, and a special son-in-law, Paul; a special grandson, Cody Hill; 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; a brother, Bobby Crabtree; four sisters, Naidell Powers, Joyce Winebarger, Dinah Hibbitts, and Carolyn Sue Lee; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Monday, December 19, 2002, 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. at the Sturgill Funeral Home 310 6 ^th Street NW Coeburn, VA. Funeral Service will be conducted 1 P.M. Tuesday, December 20, 2022, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. R.J. Rose officiating. Burial will follow in the Crabtree Cemetery Wise, VA.
