NORTON, VA. JULY 25, 2026

Rex Allen Brickey, 75, went to be with his Lord and Saviour on Friday morning, July 24, 2026, at his home with his Loving Family by his side.

He attended The Church of God in Coeburn, VA. He loved reading his Bible, singing in church and playing the Bass. Rex was a self-employed contactor.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Vona Brickey; a brother, Darrell Brickey and a nephew, Jeffery Brickey.

He is survived by his Loving wife of 50 years, Wanda Brickey; nephews, Jimmy Brickey and wife Melinda and Justin Brickey and wife Charish of Norton, VA; great-nephew, Bo Brickey and wife Jennifer of Norton, VA; sister-in-law, Zillar Brickey of Norton, VA; special friend, Odell Williams of Norton, VA; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family would like to give Caris Healthcare a Special Thanks for the Loving care of Rex, Lindsey, Alisha and Coty.

All services will be Private. Pastor Kevin Campbell and Ralph Wells Jr. officiating. Family and friends will be pallbearers and Honorary pallbearer will be Bruce Beverly.
