Ralph "Roger" Adkins, 76, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 18, 2023.

Roger was a good man. He loved his family, friends, his hot rods and his animals.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Annette Adkins; parents, Henry and Effie Adkins; sisters, Frances Anderson and Louise Estep; brothers, Richard Adkins and James Adkins.

Surviving are his sons, Robert Adkins and wife Nancy of Manassas, VA, Ronnie Adkins and wife Heather of Chilhowie, VA; grandchildren, Robbie Adkins, Roger Adkins, Ryan Adkins, Skylar Langston and Adrianna Bridgeman; one great-grandchild, Averie Langston; brother, Edford Adkins; sisters, Sue Day, Wanda Addington and Ada Webb; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Roger Adkins will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA with Rev. Raymond Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Laurel Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 P.M. till time of services at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday at Sturgill Funeral Home in Wise.
