Phyllis Pauline Dingus, 86, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Orbin Estep Sr., and Mary Begley Estep; her husband, Carl Dingus, a son, Darrell Lynn Dingus; several siblings.

She was a retired employee of the Norton Community Hospital, employee of Shoe Show and former employee of Dollar General Store. She attended the Esserville Community Church.

Surviving are her sons, Chester Dingus, and Tommy Dingus both of Coeburn, VA., a sister, Gladys Estep of Coeburn, VA., a grandchild, Brantlee Dingus, several nieces, and nephews.

The family will receive friends Thursday, June 2, 2022, 1 P.M. to 2 P.M. at the Sturgill Funeral Home 310 6 ^th Street NW Coeburn, VA. Funeral Service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Danny Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Acres Cemetery Coeburn, VA.
