SAVANNAH, GA                                                                   DECEMBER 7, 2025

Paula K. O'Brien, 73, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, November 30, 2025.

She was born in Norton, VA. Paula lived a life shaped by faith, love, and devotion to her family. Her radiant smile, warm laughter, and genuine kindness made everyone around her feel seen and cherished. She rarely ended a conversation without saying, "I love you, sweetheart"—words she always meant.

Paula was a proud and devoted mother to her three children: Brigitte Culhane, Gabe Quinley, and Karoline Motley. She often said her greatest joy was being their mom.

Paula passed away tragically in a house fire, and her beloved daughter Karoline preceded her in death, giving her life in a heroic attempt to save her mother—a reflection of the same selfless love Paula showed every day.

She spent many years as a project estimator for a construction company in Las Vegas and later continued her career at Morgan McClure Chevrolet, where she formed lasting friendships before retiring. Paula was also a devoted caregiver to her parents, offering them the same compassion she shared with everyone she met.

Above all, Paula loved the Lord and leaned on her faith for strength, comfort, and courage—gifts she freely shared with others.

She is survived by her children, Brigitte Culhane (Chris Wren) and Gabe Quinley (Christine Quinley); her son-in-law, Jim Motley; her grandchildren, Cameron Quinley, Stella Culhane, Ryan Motley, Colton Motley, and Issa Culhane-Andrade; her sisters, Cheryl Marshall, Jane Branham, and Susan Vaughn; and a large extended family and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Karoline, and her parents, Curtis and Leah Branham.

Paula will be laid to rest with her daughter in a private family ceremony.

Paula fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith. She is now home with her Savior, her brave daughter, and her loving parents.

We love you, sweetheart.
