NORTON, VA.                                                MAY 17, 2021

Mr. Paul Miller, 72, passed away Saturday, May 15, 2021 in Bristol, Tennessee at the Hospice House.

He was a retired coal miner of 23 years from Glamorgan Coal, a taxidermist for 20 years and a meat butcher. He lived most of his life in Norton, VA.

The angel of the Lord come and took him peacefully with his wife by his side.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Melinda Cantrell; and his parents, Luther Harding Miller and Carrie Marie Collins Gunby.

He leaves behind his wife, Joyce Ann Miller of the home; son, Danniel Miller; daughters, Kathy Wireman and husband Joe, Floria Underwood and husband Thurman, and Courtney Stapleton and husband Scott; grandchildren, Chanse "Hack" Jessee, Paul "Turtle" Jessee, Susan Underwood, Alisa Underwood, David Underwood, Ronald Spongel, Chelsea, Brandon, Jasmine, Destiny, Trinidee Cantrell, Christopher Burke, Megan Phelps, Sarah Slone, Emma Yates, Lexi Stallard, and Claire Stapleton; six great-grandchildren; brothers, Ronnie Greene and Wayne Greene; sister, Barbara Miller; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A song service for Paul Miller will be held at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA. Family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. till time of service at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at the Sturgill Funeral Home in Wise, VA. Funeral services for Paul Miller will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA with Rev. Randy Carter and Rev. Steve Powers officiating. Burial will follow in the Laurel Grove Cemetery in Norton, VA.
