Patsy Clayetta Mullins DePriest, 73, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 21, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and devotion to her family.

She will be remembered for her warm gentle spirit, and the care she showed to everyone she met.

Patsy had a special love for flowers, finding beauty and joy in their colors, much like the way she lived her life. She cherished life spent with her loved ones, especially her grandchildren, and created lasting memories that will be held close forever.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Amanda Jessee; her parents, Phillip and Helen Mullins; and brother, Sammy Mullins.

Surviving are her husband, Richard DePriest; her son, Alex Jesse; her granddaughter, Allie and husband Graham; granddaughter, Jordyn; grandson, Cameron; sisters, Gigi Collier, Sally Steele, Melissa Robinson, and Nancy Mullins; brothers, Tommy Mullins, Donny Jo Mullins and David Mullins; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Patsy DePriest will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 26, 2025 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA with Pastor Roger Barker officiating. Burial will follow in the Wise Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 12:30 till time of services at 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 26, 2025 at the Sturgill Funeral Home in Wise, VA.
