It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia Gale Adkins Holbrook on April 3, 2025. Pat was born to Hiram "Luke" Adkins Jr. and Edna Adkins at Norton Community Hospital. She lived in Coeburn, Virginia, where she attended Coeburn Primary and graduated in 1971 from Coeburn High School. Pat resided most of her life in Gray, Tennessee, where she worked various jobs, including preparing tax returns, which she loved to do. She had worked for the last 8 years at UETHDA, a non-profit agency, where she retired and was loved by all. She enjoyed going to Evan's athletic events, going out to eat, reading books, fishing, and listening to her favorite heavy metal music.

Pat is survived by her sister Belinda McCoy, brother Wayne Adkins, daughter Melissa Adkins, sons James Holbrook and Hugh Holbrook, grandson Evan Holbrook, niece Shonna Campbell, her grand pup Max, he sure loved his Mamaw and extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 2 P.M. to 3 P.M. Sunday, April 6, 2025, at the Sturgill Funeral Home 310 6th Street NW Coeburn, Virginia. Funeral Service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Kevin Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in the Walker McCoy Cemetery St. Paul, Virginia.
