Patricia "Pat" Marie Strouth, 77, entered her eternal home Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at her residence with her loving family by her side.

Pat was of Christian faith and attended Charlie's Chapel, Coeburn, VA. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She adored her family, especially her children and grandchildren. Pat loved spending time with her family and friends and loved baking sweets with her grandchildren. She had a servant's heart and truly enjoyed taking care of others. Pat retired from Heritage Hall where she worked as a CNA.

Pat is preceded in death by her parents, Creed and Edith Couch Powers; sisters, Alma Carico, Martha Carico, Nona Powers Gardener, Bonnie Carico Meade; brothers, Kenneth Carico, Ulis  Carico and Teddy Powers.

Surviving are her loving husband, Lawrence "Buck" Strouth of Wise, VA; daughter, Cheri Barekman and husband Mike of Coeburn, VA; son, Lawrence "Bucky" Strouth and wife Katherine of Wise, VA; grandchildren, Mitzi King and husband Randall of Kingsport, TN, Kristen Day and husband Matt of Wise, VA, Chance Strouth of Wise, VA, Destiny Strouth of Wise, VA, Colton Strouth of Wise, VA, Landyn Strouth of Wise, VA, Herbie Mahon of Wise, VA, Brenton Barekman of Teleford, TN and Johnathan Barekman of Teleford, TN; great-grandchildren, Makaila Freeman of Kingsport, TN, Rileigh Day of Wise, VA, Dusten Freeman of Kingsport, TN, Emma Day of Wise, VA, Levi Day of Wise, VA, Xavier King of Kingsport, TN; sister, Vivian Stallard of Pound, VA; brothers, Ezra Powers and wife Felicia of Pound, Tim Powers and wife Katrina of Pound, VA and a host of other family, friends and loved ones.

Funeral services for Pat Strouth will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, July 16, 2022 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA with Donnie Mullins and Jeff Boggs officiating. Burial will follow in the Strouth-Lane Cemetery in Pound, VA. Family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. till time of services at 1:00 P.M. Saturday at the Sturgill Funeral Home in Wise, VA.
