NORTON, VA.                                         October 15, 2022

Pastor Gwen Owens, 73, went home to be with the Lord, Friday, October 14, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

She was pastor of The Church Of The Good Shepherd in Norton, VA and a retired school teacher from the Norton Elementary School.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard Don and Wilma Jean Dean Owens.

Surviving are her sister, Deborah Dickson; brother, James Sherman Owens and wife Carlene; niece, Shawna Starr Walker; aunts and uncles, Don and Betty Stewart, Jake and Thelma Salyer and Jim Dean and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial Services for Pastor Gwen Owens will be held on Saturday, October 29th at 3:00 P.M. at The Church of the Good Shepherd in Norton, VA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Church Of The Good Shepherd, P.O. Box 1011 Norton, VA 24273.
