Pansy Lynn Bevins, 70, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 2, 2023.

Pansy was a faithful servant of God and attended Bethel Chapel Freewill Baptist Church. Pansy loved her savior with her whole heart and honored Gods word her entire life. Her greatest joys in life were cooking and taking care of her family, her husband and prayer partner of 51 years. She enjoyed watching sports and spending time with her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. She had a giving heart and loved helping and praying for those in need. Pansy was loved and will be missed my many.

Pansy is proceeded in death by her father, Robert Gentry; mother, Oma Gentry; brothers, Dean Gentry and Kaye Gentry and sister, Sherry Gentry.

Surviving are her husband of 51 years, Eugene Bevins; daughters, Amy Kitelinger (Jim)  and Chasity Mullins (Scott);  son,  Nathan Bevins (Amy); granddaughters, Kelsey Johnson (Jason), Kacey Kitelinger and Ellakate Bevins; grandsons, Kinley Mullins (Brooke), Kaylon Mullins and  Logan Bevins; great-grandchildren,  Abram and Maverick Mullins and Kehlani Branch; sisters, Sandy Gentry, Karen Yates and Nicole Williams; brothers, Gail Gentry, Ronnie Gentry and Timmy Gentry and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Pansy Bevins will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Monday, February 6, 2023 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA with Rev. Randy Sturgill officiating. Burial will follow in the Beverly Cemetery Wise, Va. The family will receive friends from 12:30 P.M. till time of services at 2:00 P.M. Monday at the Sturgill Funeral Home in Wise, VA.
