Pamela Jo Adams Collins also affectionately known to loved ones as "cricket" Received her ultimate healing on the morning of April 7, 2026. Born in Richmond, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her Parents James M. and Wille Mae Soper Adams, Her Mother and Father-in-law, Albert S. and Nanny Kate Collins, 2 Brothers Reverend Terry L. Adams Sr. and Thomas Louis Adams III. Son In Law Gerald L. Sexton and Nephew Earl E. (JR) Adams Jr.
Left to cherish Her memory are her Husband of 57 years Kenneth W. Collins, Her daughter Ladonna M. Collins Sexton and Her Son Daniel W. Collins all of Coeburn. She had 3 grandchildren, Alexander Sexton, Alicia Sexton and Bryson Collins who she absolutely adored. 1 sister Mona Mae Adams Collins and Husband Rev. Buford W. Collins 3 brothers James M. Adams II and Wife Karen, Earl. E. Adams Sr. and wife Charlotte and Paul E. Adams and wife Sheila. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and church family who she loved dearly.
She loved to sing for the lord and served the lord from a very young age. Her favorite song to sing was "I won't turn back" and she never did. She was a very loving person and cared deeply for others.
The family will receive friends Saturday, April 11, 2026, 12 P.M. to 1 P.M. at the Sturgill Funeral Home 310 6th Street NW Coeburn. Funeral Service will follow with Rev. Curt Bond officiating. Burial will follow in the New Maple Grove Church Cemetery Sandy Ridge.
The family would like to thank the staff at Ridgecrest Manor for taking care of her during the last few years. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Sturgill Funeral Home.
