Opal Mae Meade Hall, 96, passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at her home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Henry & Orpha Carico Meade, three brothers, Virgil Meade, Les Meade, and Raymond Meade, two sisters, Hazel Marshall, and Trula Large, her first husband, John H. Hamilton Jr. and second husband, Harless Hall. She attended the Stallard Memorial Church. Surviving are her two brothers, Lewie (Reginia) Meade, and Shelton (Marsha) Meade; two stepsons, Danny (Linda) Hall, and Sammy (Patty) Hall; two stepdaughters, Gaye (Tommy) Puckett, and Vera (Kleg) Hess; several nieces and nephew. Special Thank you to her caregivers, Vickie Slemp, Eliza Smith, and Sabrina Deel.

Visitation will be held Friday, August 4, 2023, 12:30 P.M. to 2 P.M. at the Sturgill Funeral Home 310 6th Street NW Coeburn, VA. Funeral Service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Lewie Meade and Pastor Shelton Meade officiating. Burial will follow in the Temple Hill Memorial Park Castlewood, Virginia.
