Romans 8:38-39

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present not the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, not anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Nancy Elizabeth Ward (nee Stidham), 81, entered her Heavenly rest on October 12, 2022.  She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, Otis.

Nancy enjoyed the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and she also loved to quilt and crochet but most of all she loved cooking for her family and friends. She was a member of Riverview Pentecostal Church and treasured her church family.

Surviving are her four children: Margaret Johnson and husband Michael of Coeburn, VA; Eddie Sanders of Sanford, NC; Samuel Sanders and wife Dawn of Coeburn, VA; Kathleen Robbins and husband Larry of Madison, AL. Also, five grandchildren: Jason Johnson (Robyn), Daniel Johnson (Kasi), Kimberly Newsom, Kayla Campbell (Shawn), and RJ Robbins (Logan) as well as nine great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Saturday, October 15, 2002, 12 P.M. to 1 P.M.  at the Sturgill Funeral Home 310 6 ^th Street NW Coeburn, VA. Funeral Service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Mike Lawson officiating. Graveside committal services and burial will follow in the Smith-Gilliam Cemetery, Wise, VA.
