Nancy Helen Hamm, 92, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2024, at her home on Sandy Ridge.

She was preceded in death by her husband, of 74 years, Donald Hamm; her mother, Edith Odle Tate, her father Paul Tate; her son, David Hamm; daughter-in-law, Kathie Hamm; sister, Frances Pitsenburger, and two brothers, Robert (Bud) Tate, and Pete Tate.

Surviving are her sons, Elmer Hamm of New Carrollton, Maryland, and William (Phyllis) Hamm of Archdale, North Carolina; daughter, Evon (Rick) Hollyfield of Coeburn, Virginia; two sisters, Virginia Welch of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, and Margaret Hess of Spotsylvania, Virginia; four wonderful grandchildren she adored, Shane, and Taylor of Archdale, North Carolina, and Ciara, and Nathan of Coeburn, Virginia.

The family will receive friends Friday, May 24, 2024, 11:00 A.M. to 11:45 A.M. at the Sturgill Funeral Home 310 6th Street NW Coeburn, Virginia.
