Nancy C. Collins, 77, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 29, 2025.

Nancy was of the Pentecostal Faith and a faithful follower of Jesus Christ.

At a young age, she worked for Wise Clinic and then worked for Norton Redevelopment and Housing Authority for 38 years, where she thought of her coworkers as her family. She was known for her kindness and willingness to do anything for anyone. Her smile could light up a room. Nanny always had snacks for her grandbabies whom she loved dearly. To them she would say what happens at Nanny's stays at Nanny's.

Nancy touched a lot of lives, always looking where she could serve her Lord and Savior if it was giving Godly advice, a listening ear, food and sometimes her last dollar.

She is preceded in death by her loving daughter, Tammy Lynn Cassell; her mother, Dorothy Salyers; her brother, Mike Toney; and her sister, Paula Hutchinson.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving and faithful daughter, Denise Collins; her grandchildren, whom she loved and cherished, Jacob (Britney) Collins and Haley Cassell; three beautiful great-grandchildren, she was so proud of, Jayden, Jaxen and Elly Collins; her sisters, Linda (David) Fleming and Shirley Stephens; two special nieces, Kristi (Larry) Lee and Michelle Adams; special nephew, Sean Dixon; along with so many other special friends, nieces and nephews.
