POUND, VA.                                           AUGUST 31, 2021

Myrtle "Dee" Strouth, 75, passed away Sunday, August 29, 2021 at the Norton Community Hospital in Norton, VA. Myrtle was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

She was of the Christian Faith.

Myrtle was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Marion Strouth Sr.; parents, Charles Cecil and Vicey Cox Brummett; brothers, Ray Jessee, Cecil Brummett, Burnis Brummett and Johnny Brummett; and a sister, Dusty Marshall.

Surviving are her children, Cecil Strouth Jr. and wife Janice and Melissa Ann Adams and husband Donald Jr.; grandchildren, Jonathan Cecil Strouth, Maranda Ashton Strouth, Carrie Ann Adams, Alyssa Kya Adams, and Tina Marie Conner; great-grandchildren, Kennedy Parrish Strouth, Tristen Sturgill and Gavin Sturgill; sisters, Margaret Wessells, Martha Bryant, Janice Collins and Christine Bryant; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Myrtle Strouth will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, September 2, 2021 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA with Rev. Nolan Stanley officiating. Burial will follow in the Strouth-Lane Cemetery Pound, VA. Family will receive friends from 12 noon till time of services at 1:00 P.M.
