NORTON, VA.                                           APRIL 24, 2021

Myrtle Frances Talubee Brock Minnix, 91, passed away Thursday, April 22, 2021 at her home.

Born in Letcher County, KY, She enjoyed six generations of family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Mahaley Talubee; her husbands, William Brock and Oakley Minnix; her children, Wayne Brock, Woodrow Brock, Marsha Brock and Louise Cress; and four brothers and a sister.

Surviving are six children, Nancy Brock, Anna Brock, Mitchel Brock, Jean Brock Roberts, Debbie Brock Green and J R Brock; several grandchildren and all the many who called her Granny.

Funeral services for Myrtle "Granny" Minnix will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, April 25, 2021 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA with Pastor Jeff Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in the Carter Cemetery Wise, VA.  The Family will receive friends from 12 noon till time of services at 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the Sturgill Funeral Home in Wise, Va.  We will be following state mandated social distancing and occupancy.
