Myra Ellen Puckett 96, went home to be with her Lord and Savior,

Wednesday April 14, 2021. Proverbs 31:28 "Her children rise up and call her

blessed." She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Russell Puckett Sr.,

father Lester Atwood, Mother Effie May Atwood, and a brother Joseph Bayard

Atwood Sr.

She is survived by her sons, Thomas R. Puckett, Jr. (Gaye) Gray Tn. James E Puckett

(Deborah) Hampton Va., Martin L. Puckett (Tammy) Coeburn Va.

One Sister Edith Lucille Griffith, Coeburn, Va. Grandchildren, Karen Campbell (Bill), Michael Puckett (Donna), Brooke Ewing (Jon), Jim Puckett (Sarah) Regan Christenson, (John), Amber McMillan, (Demurris). 13 Great grandchildren; 1 Great, Great grandchild.

Myra was a member of Mary's Chapel Church for almost 80 years. She loved her

church family as her own, especially her Sunday School Class. She worked as an

airplane riveter (Rosie the Riveter) during WW II in Michigan. She belonged to the

Coeburn Rebekah Lodge. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to Mary's Chapel Church. P.O. Box 989, Coeburn, Va.

The family will receive friends 12 P.M. to 2 P.M. Saturday, April 17, 2021 at the Sturgill Funeral Home 310 6 ^th Street NW Coeburn, VA. Funeral Service will follow in the chapel at 2 P.M. with Brother Les Ritchie officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Acres Cemetery Coeburn, VA. Mask are required and will not be furnished by the funeral home or family. We will be following State Mandated Occupancy and Social Distancing.
