Milburn "Big Bud" Jackson entered into his heavenly rest just 16 days shy of his 93 ^rd birthday. First and foremost, he was a Christian who lived his life as a Christian should. He attended Banner Revival Center Holiness Church in Banner, Virginia for the past 45 years. He was a retired coal miner and a member of UMWA. He was one of a very large family of 16 children. He is survived by his wife of 65 plus years, Drucilla, three sons: Gary (Cheryl) of Coeburn, Bobby, of Coeburn, and Michael (Ellen) of Castlewood, four grandchildren: Jason Jackson, Tearsa Edwards (Paul), Zachary Jackson (Taylor) and Caleb Jackson, five great grandchildren: Braiden Jackson, Sophia Edwards, Reign Jackson, Minden Jackson (deceased), and Anakin Jackson. He is also survived by one sister, Janice Goodwin of Ohio, his sister-in-law, Shirley Jackson (widow of his twin brother Wilburn "Little Bud" Jackson) and a host of nieces and nephews. He was a pillar of his church and community and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 6, 2022, 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. at the Sturgill Funeral Home 310 6 ^th Street NW. Funeral Service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Pastor R.L. Crawford officiating. Graveside Service will be conducted 11 A.M. Thursday, July 7, 2002, in the Jackson Cemetery Sandy Ridge. Family and friends will meet at 10:15 A.M.
