Michael Jessee Fannon, 49, passed away Monday, March 23, 2026, at his home in Johnson City, Tn. He was a devoted father, son, and brother. He was an avid golfer that loved spending time with his son enjoying outdoor adventures.

Preceded in death by his father, Danny Fannon. Survived by his son, Gage Fannon and fiancé Megan Stinson of Johnson City, Tn.; his mother, Wanda Fannon of Big Stone Gap, Va.; sisters, Angela (Chad) Hughes of Morristown, Tn. and Brandy (Brad) Day of Knoxville, Tn.; nieces and nephews, Jordan, Sierra, Ethan, Kylee, and Jackson; and also, a special longtime friend, Monica Malony.

The family will receive friends Thursday, March 26, 2026, 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. at the Sturgill Funeral Home 310 6th Street NW Coeburn, Va.
