Mary Lynn Stapleton, 71, entered her heavenly rest on February 2, 2022.

Mary was a dedicated Christian, prayer warrior, devoted mother, grandmother, and loyal friend to all who were blessed to know her.  She was so very hardworking and her love language was food.  She worked diligently to master hundreds of recipes and would bless others regularly with their favorite dishes and treats.  Her smile and staunch faith made her sparkle to her closest family and friends but also to any stranger she came across.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Stella Wells, as well as a grandson, Levi Dotson.

She leaves behind her children, Jess Dotson and husband Chris, Brittany Stapleton, Jason Stapleton, Shayne Stapleton and wife Bethany all of Wise, Virginia; a special "daughter", Heather Askea and husband Ray of Norton, Virginia; beloved grandchildren, Makenzie Stapleton, Jaxon Dotson, Grayson Dotson, and Tyler Stapleton and a host of family and friends. She will also be missed by her wonderful church family and dear friends.
