WISE, VA.                                    NOVEMBER 4, 2022

Mary Minton Miller, 95, passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2022, peacefully in her sleep at home after a lengthy illness on the same day as her husband Jack, 14 years ago. They are together again with family who preceded before them. Especially two sons, Kenny, Jackie and a grandson, Adam Miller.

Mary was the matriarch of our family. Being the last of fourteen children born to James Moscoe and Bertie Rhoton Minton. Mom was loved by everyone who met her and when you came to visit you never left empty handed. She was a retired bookkeeper of 35 years for Jack Miller and Sons.

Surviving are her children, Linda Miller of the home, Chuck Miller and wife Valarie, David Miller and wife Donna; ten granddaughters; three grandsons; thirteen great-grandsons; six great-granddaughters, several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mary Miller will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, November 7, 2022 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel, Wise, VA with Pastor Danny Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Wise Cemetery, Wise, VA. Family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. till 7:00 P.M. on Sunday, November 6, 2022 at the Sturgill Funeral Home, Wise, VA.
