WISE, VA.                       OCTOBER 25, 2026

Mary Della Baker Sturgill, 96, departed her earthly home to live forever with her Lord Jesus Christ on Saturday, October 24, 2026.

She is now with her loving husband, Rev. Eddie Theodore Sturgill; her parents, John Byron and Emma Pridemore Baker; all her beloved brothers and sisters, Kyle, Bill, Bernard, Rufus, Ira, Preston, Helen Hash and Frances Hall Baker.

She has left her daughters, Belinda Vicars and Teresa Conley.; her grandsons and their childen:

Ron (Sonya) Vicars and their sons Nathan and Ben Vicars, Anthony (Lindsay) Vicars and their children: Abigail (Alex) Smith and Jude and Cale Vicars, Justin (Susan) Freeman and their children: Mason Craft and Ryder and Hadley Freeman; she has left many nieces, nephews, along with friends of the many churches she met while her husband pastored.

The family would like to thank their special family caretaker, Shelly Polly and Heritage Hall Nursing Home.
