Margaret Nancy Meade, 97, passed away Friday, August 4, 2023, at the home of her daughter in Kingsport, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her parents, Worley, and Mary Stidham; her husband, Lloyd Meade; a sister, Hazel Raza, brother, Tommy Stidham, and a daughter, Gwen Ward. She was a member of the Higher Ground Worship Church. Margaret and Lloyd were proud to raise several foster children.

Surviving is seven sons, Ronnie Dailey, Wayne Dailey, James White, Mike Meade, Randy Meade, Brent Meade, and Terry Meade; two daughters, Brenda Ford, and Michelle Shelton; 27 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren, several nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday, August 7, 2023, 1 P.M. to 2 P.M. at the Sturgill Funeral Home 310 6th Street NW Coeburn, VA. Funeral Service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Billy Carty officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Acres Cemetery Coeburn, VA.
